Aw man Duckie. That stinks big time.

My dad has been with the USPS for 26 years and he's been saying for the past 10 years or more that the guys that are working there now just flat out don't care about what they do anymore.
The supervisors and management don't care about what they do much either.

What is the world coming to?

Sounds like the shipper should have shipped the alt in foam. Sometimes it is not all UPS, it is the people that shipped it to you didn't pack it good enough.
Let's do some WATTS!

I feel your pain...I bought a power supply from an auction site and saw one ding on the case. When I received it there was a second dent, not ding in it. The postal guys must have thrown it into the truck. I considered it my fault because I should've asked the seller to write FRAGILE on the box and insure it because it's merely a few dollars to insure up to $300. I purchased 2 tube amps since and having them insured and having FRAGILE written all over the boxes allowed me to get both amps with nary a ding.

for the past 2 years I have had the worst luck with usps. I have a galaxy 66 floating around somewhere that was never delivered to me that they say they did deliver. and I have an amp out there too somewhere. several money orders, which I was able to cancel and resend UPS. when it comes to shipping I will never use usps again. I only use fed ex, dhl and UPS. USPS sux big ones.

I had the guy write Fragile all over it and insure it for more than the deal too. To insure with the USPS isn't that much when you consider getting $500 worth of insurance for less than $5..and when you are expecting that toy that has you drooling, it's well worth the cost. When that insurance tag is stuck on any package those guys treat it a lot better because **Censored** rolls downhill..
