I have a buddy that's been looking at that antenna to put on his shop beings it's not as big as an Antron.. The Antron is a 3 piece which has 3-6ft sections, making it 18ft.. The Patriot has 2-6ft sections, making it only 12ft..
From the couple people I talked to they perform very good for what it is.. I'm sure the Antron is better but he is not "supposed" to have any antenna where he's at and is running a mobile antenna now.. The mobile antenna is working very good but I'm sure the Patriot would work better for him..
If you get one, report back with your results

One of our locals is in the CB shop business, and he is very good at what he does.........
He started selling these antennas, sold a few of them, only one of them ended out working well, the rest of them were junk, he bought them back.
Needless to say, he doesn't carry them anymore and introduces folks to the tried and true A99, which he has sold for years.

Channel 32, or sometimes 33 and or 34......
That's a good business man to buy the junk back.fireball894 wrote:One of our locals is in the CB shop business, and he is very good at what he does.........

Yeah, definitely.
He also talks drivers out of buying dual antennas. He tells them "they really dont need it" for what they want to do. And hes right.
He only had 1 customer have one of those work right, everyone else's didn't. He bought them back and called his distributor and told them exactly what junk they are and never carried them again.
He always has took care of his customers. He also has done stuff for folks when they were in a fix, too. Ever in the I80 PA/OH line area, give R and R a call on ch 33.
