Search locked out for 102 seconds

why when I am searching on this forum does a second search get locked out for a certain amount of seconds...

Appreciate your feedback. We have to have a limit on searches to keep the robots at Bay. We are on a shared hosting platform and have limited resources and the robots using the search option tends to cause problems and this is why there's a limit

Yeah this is awful, makes me not want to browse here ever. Tried doing a couple searches and no more for me. I understand if it is an issue, it is what it is, but too annoying for me.

Same with the non double posting, just annoying the way that shows the posts. Any other forum this is no big deal, and if people are severely abusing it and posting 100 times stupid replies back to back, you deal with that person. But considering the decline of forums, you'd think the more posts the better (aside from bots / spam and such).

IDK, Guess things change, but this stuff can make people not want to participate.
