You order something IE: A antenna its shipped by vendor In one week then its sitting in another state for 1 month,,LOST?? who is responsible for fixing this problem? The seller or the buyer?? I know what my answer is, I want to hear others.....
Not sure who you bought from but if the tracking shows movement and then just stops it is the shipping company's fault. I have gone through this many times over the years.
First, contact the seller, he/she has all the shipping info, receipts etc., so he/she needs to start a tracer on the package. Get whatever he says and all his same info in writing.
Second, I hope you used PayPal or a respectable credit card company to put a hold on the payment because you have not received the item. Even though the seller isn't (in most cases) to blame, this puts a fire under his/her butt to help resolve the problem.
Last, contact the shipper, ask where your package was last tagged and have them start checking there. If not found within a day, file a claim and a complaint.
You have to remember to, this virus has put a damper on shipping, the last known location of your package might have been quarantined for 2 weeks and heaven forbid if it's stuck somewhere in California.
As far as the shipping company is concerned, you as the receiver has little to no rights.
Something like that happened to me once, an item got lost in shipping. The shipper wouldn't even talk to me, the person who was waiting for it, I am not the customer, or the one who paid them, after all. They eventually found it and sent it back to the shipper with a refund and they had to reship it. I think this was UPS?
The shipper is the one who can claim liability, the shipper is the one who can get insurance on the shipped goods. The receiver is only relevant so far as its where the shipped goods are supposed to go, and many shipping companies won't even let the receiver change how a package is received (from say home delivery to pick up location) until they have attempted to deliver the item at least once. They will even put the package right out in the open on the front of the receiver's house for prying eyes to take if the receiver is not there when the shipper tries to deliver a package, which always seems to be when the receiver is not at said location.
Well I placed the order Sept 3rd the vendor had issues with part of the order I contacted them over that, they fixed that 2 weeks later and said the antenna shipped..... well 3 days later the part that was an issue showed up with no antenna. I called they said it was shipped the same day LIE number 1 so I asked about it, they said it is do at my house in 2-3 days well 2 weeks later I called again they gave me the tracking number.....another week went, I called again, that's when I got the BS its not our problem after it leaves the door But says Ill call back after they call the USPS no call back now I'm getting **Censored**.... I want to be nice about this but I'm losing my patience.....
