Moonraker 4 Parts
Hello all I have a Avanti Moonraker 4 that I need a part for it is the bracket that the coax's attach to the part number is 519.120. I see were others have built antennas with gamma rods and attach the coax to the rod with a solder on loop. Sounds like a better way to go with no connector corrosion issues . Also need the little plastic part that the screw goes through into the gamma rod. Would like to do it with the bracket if I can. I sent **Non Sponsor** an email for it but not expecting anything. Antenna is new Thanks for reading any help would be great

Re: Moonraker 4 Parts
Parts for a discontinued 40+ year old antenna will be hard to come by. I had a friend who had the same problem. I modified the gammas with coax pigtails to make the connections to the feed coaxes, used a thick plastic kitchen cutting board cut down to make spacers for the gamma's to hold them in place and spark plug boots to seal the gammas. His antenna has been up and working for over 5 years with the mods. A little ingenuity goes a long way.
