I have a in line SWR and Watt meter in my vehicle at the moment. When I got it when I was having trouble with a uniden i ran in the past. Since then I have just left in in there. When I get the new radio, should I be concerned about the SWR? I have a Wilson 1000 trunk mount and will be using a SWP Connex 4600 turbo. In the past with the SWP General Washington. I hooked it up and SWR was like 1.3. That was with no adjusting. Just hooked it up.
I WOULD CHECK MY SWRS IF YOU ARE RUNNING A DIFFERENT RADIO. I WOULD TRY TO GET MY SWRS A LITTLE LOWER IF POSSIBLE. MAYBE AROUND 1.1 THAT IS JUST MY OPINION OF COURSE.
STICKMAN
Thanks, Ill keep it. The advise. I will also get those SWRS down. Thanks Stick. Hey, you still got the itch for the 4600. I talked to my buddy. He will go as low as 225 shipped on the 4300 HP.
