I should probably know this by now, but would someone by chance know which cap I need to replace so take some of the "bassyness" out of this mic? Mic works fine, but the tone is a bit on the thick side for my deeper voice. Im told it sounds a little beer canny.

You could try a .01uF disc cap between the audio and shield, that usually cures the problem.
