Will Galaxy DX99v & TX Star 500v fit in K-40 Slip Seat

Just was wondering if anyone had a Transmitter and a Radio in one of the K-40 Slip Seat Boxes.
I was wondering specifically if my Galaxy DX99v and a TX Star 500v would fit in one, maybe add a exhaust fan in one of the speaker holes etc... ( my Galaxy has side mic jack, probably have to drill hole for it)

Here are some good pics item is sold but photos are good: [Please login or register to view this link]

Anyone running these? Seem a cool idea...

I'll bet with a little ingenuity you can get it to work, however, I would be more concerned about getting power to the K-40. That amp sounds like it will draw more amps than a cigarette lighter can supply and alligator clips on a battery post doesn't sound very dependable.

I'm sure that you can figure out something. Good luck,
