PA question

Alright, is there a way to play my radio through my PA? Some guy at a tailgate had this, but I didn't ask him about it. Does anyone know??? I have a uniden 68ltw, and can play the weather station through my PA. Is there a way I can play my radio without keyin up and holdin the mic infront of my speaker? Thanks.

Plug your PA speaker into your ext. speaker jack. :lol:

on my buddies cobra 29 , we just plugged the pa into the pa jack and u can hear the radio over it...

That doesn't sound right. It should only do that if the PA jack was wired across into the Ext. Spkr. circuit inside the radio....which is possible.

my old cobra 29 and my uniden grant xl does that. even the first uniden grant xl would play the cb thru the pa jack. I think some radios are just wired to do that and some aint. if yours dont then just plug in the pa speaker into the external jack as already stated.

Some old radio shack radios had a Monitor switch, that put the CB through the PA speaker,,,like the TRC-427

mmmmmm.... I wonder if he is actually talking about music. You know, AM/FM stereo? Being that he is talking about "tailgating" and the fact that he is asking if there is a way to play his radio without keying up hand holding the mic in front of the speaker...... :? If your talking about listening to the CB through a PA speaker then yes, like others stated, plug the PA speaker into the EXT speaker jack on the back of the radio. Otherwise if you are talking about wanting to listen to music over your PA speaker, just get a portable radio or a radio with a speaker jack and plug the PA speaker into it I guess. Not sure if that is what you are after or not. Hope it helps.
