Doing some CB research Q4 of 9

#387736

Post by MightyMo »

I'm doing some research for a paper for school on CB radios. I have a survey created, but it was suggested that some survey sites collect information from the responders IP address. In the name of keeping your information in your hands, It was suggested to use the forum instead of the site. I can only create one poll question on each topic so I'll have 9 topics. If you have any other comments regarding the question, feel free to comment here.

If you want to take the survey I created, here is the link.

Thanks in advance.

Range of a CB Radio is dependent on the antenna, location, surroundings, height the antenna is mounted...heck, even time of day can be a factor...IMO there's no clear limit to range.

A practical range would depend on the operator. The word practical is subjective. I myself keep a log of long distance contacts. So im for as much as possible.
Keep smiling ...It makes people wonder what your up too !
