D104MB6 to Anytone AT-5555 Mic Question...
I have a D104MB6 hand mic wired as a 4 pin cobra. Do I just remove pin 4 from the mic connector to use it on an Anytone AT-5555 or does something special need to be done using this type of microphone on this radio.
TIA!
TIA!

After looking at the schematic for that radio it looks like that's all you have to do.

pin 4 is that hot wire that you want to make sure you don't ground out (channel selector)! Pin 3 is the mic audio. Pin 2 looks like it is the push-to-talk switch. Pin 1 is the shield/ground
1- shield/ground
2- transmit "red"
3- audio "white"
4- no connection

It would be a good idea to put a piece of shrink tube on the #4 pin pad in the mic connector just in case one of the other wires breaks loose and comes in contact with it. I know it sounds impossible but better safe than sorry.
