HELP! i have tried to wire my M+2u to my 2995dx but I just can't get it to work! The battery is good. I have a four Pin to six pin ranger that will work OK if i can get it to wire 4 pin cobra!
1)shield
2) white
3)red
4) black

Right?

I don't know the age of your turner Mic, I'm not familiar with that model, but if it's an old one it may not work with that 2995. When I first got my 2995DX a few years ago I had plans to run a vintage D-104 that had been in my family for decades. This Mic was in perfect condition but it was the wrong impedance and would not "Key" the radio. I checked the wiring, plug, ect... nothing helped. The Mic worked perfect when using it on a 30 year old Cobra base radio though. When I got a much newer D-104 Silver Eagle series Mic it worked perfectly. The mis-match of impedence from radio to Mic may be the problem. Good luck.
