Thanks dirtyjob! And Thank you too KYLake. Those good ole' D&A's are tough to beat for sure. I'd like to find a nice tan faced one somewhere. People want the price of a golden bar for them though.

The Gray one I have in my video is a 10 tube triple stage too. Must have been built before they re-designed the cabinets and made them tan and brown. It puts out better than my other 12 tube D&A's. I see an output of 1,000 watts PEP from the triple stage. The others do around 800. Who else has some Browning photos?? Lets see em!!!

The 10 tube Phantom is a bit more efficient design than the 12 tube. Yes the tan face brown cased units came later and the the Phantom series was later replaced by the **Censored**-400 which they tried to pass off as a CW transmitter. For the most part it was basically the same as the late model Dual Power Phantom. As far as I know the **Censored**, MDX, RDX.... series CW D&A's were the last of them. Okay back to the Brownings.

Why in the heck is P D X censored?

I have a couple of questions. I thought the Mark III was 23 channels but one video showed someone talking on ch. 31. Are they 40 ch. or were channels added? Also wondering if the D&A **Censored** 400 has delay built in for sideband? And Bossman there's no way one person needs all those radios. That sure is a nice collection, any for sell?

I have an amazingly nice set of 3's. They were bought new, traded a couple of hands while they were still boxed, then sat for years. I picked them up in November, and they fired right up, but the receive was out. My friend had got them, and wanted a set of 4A's, so he set the sell price at $300, minus the repairs. I gave him $100, and the repairs wound up being $250, but they work perfect now. There is no stains from heat inside anywhere, the knobs, faces, and covers are all spotless. They Browning tech said they were the nicest set he's seen in about 18 years, and a top ten nicest he's ever seen. Can't post pics yet, but I'll have them on here soon.

I had a Colossal 10K. Best ground plane I have ever used. Hard to say what kind of gains though as I only used it when my beams were down so comparing it to my beams it is hard to compare apples and oranges. I have been collecting Brownings for a long time. Thanks for the flowers! Bossman.
