I'm dropping am only for ssb capable. I found a deal on a lincoln and can't pass it up. This will sit well next to my grant lt. Not sure which I will use mobile but looking forward to having the choice.

Is it the newer made that just came out or one of the older models that are similar to the Uniden 2510 model?

Older model. Not the Lincoln 2. I wouldn't mind getting the new one but for that price I'd rather get a 2970.

Just my opinion, but I use my Grant XL mobile and my President HR2600 as a base.

That's what I'm leaning towards. Maybe a little mod V to help it out.

Once I got used to it, I now like it best. Still love my grant lt but the lincoln is better for tuning in stations. Rf power is great for jumping on am.
