I just ordered a NooElec Balun One Nine and a Usmile LW1650 Portable Long Line shortwave antenna shortwave radio antenna for RTL SDR receiver shortwave radio stations to hook up to the CPU.

Nice. ! i dug out a project i had started .its a end fed hf antenna with a 9-1 unun and im working on another set up im piecing together. Let me know how your set up works im always trying to pull in more station now lol

I have my SDRPlay RSP1 hooked up to a Diamond Super Discone model D130J (can use it to transmit on 2m as well) which would be excellent for your dongles but if you want to go lower in the frequency spectrum then the long wires will work fine.

That is a cool site. We were using it listening for ourselves on the 11m band in Brazil and Germany when skip was rolling good.

The discone is great for frequencies above 25mhz, below that a long wire and balun will be better. Have fun surfing the bands.
