straight outa the wayback machine

i just pulled some chips out of a drawer that i had buried over 20+ years ago. a couple of MRF422's and a smaller GE/RCA D44VH7.
so now i need to research a little and see, i think my original intentions were to just transplant the GE chip in a stock mobile radio.
i think it would need a better heat sink too. and limit TX.
maybe one of the savy techs here can tell me just what to do with it.... :rabbit:
