RCI-2950 AM receive issue

I've an RCI-2950, second version that the AM receive is about 1/3 of the SSB and FM mode audio to speaker. I have replaced the AM/FM detection diodes, and checked most if not all of the transistors in line with the AM/FM receive section listed in the Block Diagram. The AM/FM section all seems to be good as far as alignment etc. It actually shows good receive as far as signal, but hardly any audio out to the speaker.
If some tech could give me a little more help on the issue to look for, or if some one has run into this issue before I would appreciate a direction to go in.
