My beam gamma match is just barely above the top of the tower and rotor and my swr is higher than what it should be, can increasing the height above the tower effect my swr? The bottom elements are below the top of the tower.

Mine the elements are maybe a foot lower than the top of the tower, but SWR is fine...not perfect, but under 2.0

JJD pic shows an excellent install, here is one I did back in the mid 70's, still up today.
ImageMoonraker IV on a 40ft Rohn 25G tower
It is best to get the driven element away from the tower top as much as possible.
