Eating a Burger

Post by MDYoungblood » Monday, 20 April 2015, 10:34 AM

This is what happens when you eat a burger,

Imagine if they added fries and a shake with it. If you are like me the first one is the most important!!!

Personally I'm to old for the "fast food" places, (maybe a Mickey Dee's sweet tea once in a while), if they don't serve alcohol (for medicinal purposes only), I don't eat there anymore. :icon_e_wink: :drunken:

The cost of fast food places nowadays has gotten so high it's really not that much of a difference to just go out and eat somewhere nice. 3 people at McDonald's can set you back $30 bucks easily. I remember when a couple of combos only cost about ten dollars. And you got change back. Wendy's single meals was $3.49 a combo not so long ago. i question McDonald's business strategy. They announce one week that they are giving employees big raises then a few weeks later they are closing resturants due to quarter losses. I'd say big macs are going to be big bucks within the next few months to offset the losses. New CEO and new ideas ugh! They should go retro and bring back the old theme of hambugular and the others. :drunken:

i think mickeys has added something that, mixed with lipitor, gives you a buzz of some sort, i see way too many old fugies eating at mcD's cause they can't pass by one without stopping,, and it ain't the free coffee cause that is crappy blackwater too. they're hooked on something...or just hookin,,? :drunken: :pale:
bored and waiting to die :?: i dont know but trying to wean a fogie off McD's is a waste of time. :icon_e_surprised:

:bounce: Greg, I ask for discount every visit to M/D's, same answer is no, at least the local one don't. I visit probably too much, and the cost is outrageous. For the wife and I to eat is almost $13.00, and compared to Longhorn's steakhouse across street, two can eat a healthy two (2) pork chop dinner with b/potato & salad for $15.95. What a bargain compared to fast food prices, but it's your choice. Most other ff chains to offer some type of senior discount, mostly in the form of 10% or free soda, and I take advantage, I've paid my due's. JMHO, and a good post.
