I think its really cool that theres a CB celebrity and that he promotes the hobby.

On the other hand, (and hes not at fault for this), Im not a big fan of the elitism and fanboy culture that revolves around it.

At least once a month i hear namedropping and insults from a fanboy because someone doesnt know who Prime is.

Id also been recently clued in on the elitism on the bowl, it doesnt matter if they can hear you or not on the bowl, if your names not on the list, they wont talk to you.

Yes hes a big strapper, he does cool stuff and has some awesome radio songs, but the people coming out of Seattle down here to Oregon get annoying with how much they talk about their fanboyism. Mention some cool facts or something, but dont get your panties in a bind when we say we cant hear your hero 150 miles away without Dx conditions.

Lol. Sorry for the rant, im just annoyed at the namedropping and perceived status assosciated with a cbers ability to namedrop. Itll be a cold day when a seattle boy drives through without namedropping within 10 minutes. Although who knows, maybe hes running so much power they cant hear anything else on all 40.

Oh sparky,
Some kids just don't understand :icon_e_smile:
Hilltop stations think they are the top dog until conditions bring out the bosses.
Prime is a good man and a good friend. Im sure he gets tired of the groopies and the silly tweenies that want autographs.
To me,
He is just a good buddy.

I have nothing against him. I think it's awesome what he does. If I insulted every Seattle guy everytime I drove up there because they don't know who Gregory Sanchez is, and didn't have anything to say except that I know Gregory Sanchez, I'm sure they'd get sick of it too. At least tell some interesting stories related to it. lol. I'm only the part-time medium pup for the one cber in beaverton, lol. this station is as big as it's gunna get, but max respect for the uber big dogs, that's dedication.
