phantom powered condenser mic
Was reading about a phantom powered condenser mic mod for a cobra29. What does this do to the mics sound i don't understand this. Please explain. Thanks, D-minus

Phantom power gives the mic with the power it needs through the mic cord. It doesn't change the sound, a condenser mic element needs to be powered or it won't work at all.
