Do you think this would for for the second alt for the battery bank? i think i would need a tensioner between the two alts? what do you guys think?? This is a 1997 powerstroke

The belt's going to slip on the stock alternator.

The stoke dual alternator set up from Ford places one alternator in the stock position "upper right side" and the secound on "lower left side" under the AC pump. With all the stuff...pipes, wires and hoses going on under the hood it looks like a science experiment! Also the serpintine belt for the dual alternator set-up is quite abit longer than a standard setup.
