I was going to say go online and search for similar and use your judgement on a price. As I see you got it so now be careful with it, don't overload it with wattage which your 2517 can do, replacement tubes are expensive.

Driving it with 5 watts am, talked to San Diego CA (Brass Monkey) this am. Will my SSB overdrive it?

It would live longer if you drive it with the minimum amount of wattage, less than 5w AM would be better, try to keep the SSB below 20/25w, the good thing is tubes are a little more forgiving than transistors, JMO.

How do I limit the rf power on SSB with my radio, book says RF Power knob only controls power on AM & FM
