I'm a New Jersey native so things are a little different with growing up. I won't get into all the music now because it will take too long. Listened to the Metallica & Megadeth as well as LL Cool J, Run DMC & Body Count and have always been picky with what I've listened to. Alot of hardcore electronica as well, groups like The Prodigy or Filter and others---it's all hard to say.

Never cared much for pop mainstream that much, but in New Jersey mixing & living with others very different than you is a necessity and a survival instinct. I worked as a main bouncer in a pretty wild hip-hop nightclub doin' that for a while and am at home & can fit in wherever. Because I've also lived in far out in the hills down South for a couple years I can understand the country music mindset and have respect for them and what they feel & how they live.

Me? Foxhunter?

I've got the understanding---of a 4-year-old
I've got the peace of mind---of a killer's soul
I've got the rationale---of a new york cop
I've got the patience---of "a chopping block"

yeah, trip like I do...

I listen to a lot of country, mostly prefer Hank JR., Waylon, Chris LeDoux, Alabama etc. but some newer stuff is alright. I also like classic rock and the stuff from when I was a kid, Like Guns and Roses, Metallica, Megadeth, Pantera and so on. I will say that as far as Metallica goes I prefer the pre-black album stuff too. I don't mind the black album, just not the same though and I have no desire to listen to the stuff that came after that. I'd say master of puppets and ride the lightning are probably the best two.(imo)

i aint got nothing against any type of music, being my favorite would be the Delta Blues, i listen to all kinds of music from blues to rock to country to opera, even elevator music, im the opposite to my wife, she would rather watch T.V. and Movies all day, you could say i love my Airwaves, that would include my CB/Ham's too plus my Scanners, if i ever go blind ill be ok cause i dont watch to much tv or movies, just give me a speaker and ill be happy...Dj

p.s. as my wife would say; the type of music that i be listening to is a sign of what kind of mood that im in, but that aint always right, some days it just what im in the mood for, and yes lately ive been stuck in the Big Hair 80's Mood...Dj

Anything from Metallica to Classic Country. I saw Metallica (for the second time) in Little Rock back in November and on the way home a little while ago I was listening to "Country Legends" on AM 790 and then some LL Cool J and Bone Thugs N Harmony on the old mixed C.D.

Oh! We're having a heatwave, a tropical heatwave
The temperature's rising, it isn't surprising,
She certainly can can-can
She started a heatwave by letting her seat wave,
In such a way that the customers say
That she certainly can can-can

Gee,gee! Her anatomy makes the mercury rise to 93!
Having a heatwave, a tropical heatwave, the way that she moves,
That thermometer proves that she certainly can...
(What's your name honey? Pablo).Certainly can..
(Chico, Miguelito, Pablo, Chico, Miguelito)...oh, can-can.

Pablo, it's saying here in the weather report,
It's saying a fairly warm air is moving in from..(Where?) Jamaica
Moderately high air pressure will cover the NE and.. (where else?)
The Deep South. Small danger of (what?) Fruit frost!
Hot and humid nights can be expected.
Vincent 95, Guadeloupe 97, Santo Domingo 99. Pardon me? 105?
We're having a heatwave, a tropical heatwave,
The temperature's rising, it isn't surprising,
I certainly can can-can

I started this heatwave in such a way
That the customers say that I certainly can can-can
The man who need makes the mercury rise to 93
We're having a heatwave, a tropical, a tropical heatwave
The way that I move, that thermometer grooves
She certainly certainly certainly can
I certainly, certainly, certainly can can-can

I like most everything but rap. I hate rap. It makes me angry.
Hmmm.......
Seriously, tho'...I mainly listen to classic rock and blues.
J.D.Blackfoot is my all time favorite with The Song of Crazyhorse and The Ultimate Prophecy. Then comes Ted Nugent with Fred Bear and Sammy Hagar (Montrose) with Bad Motorscooter.
I like some country.
BUT NOT RAP OF ANY KIND.
Kinda sound like my dad when he heard what I listened to when I was a teen. He hated rock. lol
I can thank my lucky stars that my kids have the same taste in music that I do.

One of the greatest animated videos of all time. Profound and allegorical, it's underlying meaning as real in 1943 as in 2001. A must see.
