Just got a new noise cancelling speaker it has seven levels of filter. The Galaxy 959 did not like it at all . The talk back started feeding back through it .So i tried the 148 ex and the audio when i keyed up was all broken up. so i figured maybe because it digital i hooked it up to the optima and it works fantastic on all modes and i can hear faint signals great ! Any body else try these?

Cool, I've seen the bookshelf model but not the vehicle version. I friend says it works well on the RCI radio he has.

I was listening on the optima this morning i heard a conversation on 21 so i switched to the galaxy and i was amazed the galaxy was not bringing in the weaker station but the optima with the speaker i was able to reduce the white noise and hear the station nicely

It all depends if you need it or not . Yes it is expensive! In my location though there is some quieter station that i talk to and im having trouble hearing them with the extra filtering i am able to understand them alot better. Alot of my issue is that my hearing is not what it used to be so i need all the help i can get . Plus i can hook up my ear phones and that works even better .
