Yup. The pattern is even online. Just load up ms paint and erase the components from the schematic.

Tune for minimum reflect in and out (not watts) (Stretch the coils around to tune)

The KL60 or whatever is better because of the automatic keying circuit, but I couldn't get mine to work.

Put two RCA jacks in the back of the radio, and ran the second meter in series. I put a potentiometer across the meter leads and adjusted it until both meters read the same..

It did load it down, but it only dropped the S meter calibration down by 1 S unit which is acceptable..

LMR400 all the way! it is the best of the 1/2" coax (except maybe heliax)

The velocity factor is identical to mini-8x so you get matched velocity factor along all your cable/jumpers.

My radio is not stable at 13.8 volts. I need to run at least 14.5 volts for the frequency to stop bouncing all over the place. IRF540 has 4x the input capacitance.. The rise and fall times are longer also.

I don't know jack, but I think this means:
-It takes at least 4x the energy to drive it
-Its maximum operating frequency is lower than the IRF520
