Re: Guess Summer Time is here!

The "official" weather here in Baltimore is taken at BWI Airport, lmao, it is 20 miles from the heart of town and close to the Bay so the "official" temps are always 10 to 15 degs cooler then those taken downtown. So far we have had 7 days downtown that broke 100 degs. 3's Greg That's the way it is...

Unless someone added talk back, that radio does not have " talk-back" ...and even if it did, that's not how talk-back works...you should still be able to hear static and people talking even with talk-back turned on. Yes, the phone companies made it easy for the telemarketer's to use VOIP, that is how they make their big bucks. Using Comcast for my landline I can do the same thing by blocking my phone number from view, then it shows up as a V#########'s to the called party, and if someone blocks that line I can...

You could go to the carrier's website and see if they offer a "NOROBO" option, Verizon I know doesn't have one but you can block the call after you see it is a telemarketer, upto 500 numbers can be blocked I believe. I got rid of my home's landline because of the telemarketers. Thanks for the info ...

You can take a 4' florescent light bulb (just the bulb!) and hold it in your hand a foot or so from your antenna, Key your Mic, and the bulb will light up! Stronger your Amp, the farther away from the antenna you can take the bulb and it still be lit-up. Next thing you may want to think about...Is i...
