check connections, fast contract workers are not diligent. could twist a loop or two in the leads if they are lengthy,(inside the fixture),, and the bathroom, probably has the most severe cycle of any light in your house, may be needing a new ballast, and i will bet the GFI right there is tied in???...

some of the problems can be the ballasts, loose connections, aging of a capacitor type problem. sometimes even a dimmer switch on the wall. GFI sockets can get "buzzy" too. better grounds all around, check your fusebox has a good ground. new ballasts are made differently, and cheaper, may be able to...

sure but i think your going to have a drifting problem that will amplify into 2nd and 3rd harmonics and become a spurious squeeling mess unless you are a good tech.

you could use silicone between bottom of ant. and surface,,, only has to be enough to make a seal about 1/8" wide and a couple hairs thick.(if your on a flat surface) thats what i did, put a wilson 1000 on my pickup roof.

i been listening for skip during the night, 2, 3, 4, 5 AM, hear faint stations, must be from the far side, give out a shout every once in awhile but get no replies. the full moon now may help? anyway, the overnight QRM drops to about zero and i can hear them farside stations.

i think the nmo is a tad weak compared to the So. but make sure to add a big(custom) washer to either on the inside for added backing.

that stuff is sold at Orielly, kid was using it as a parts de-ruster, it does work and is enviro-friendly
