I get that as well when I have one of those phone chargers plugged in the wall, or power supply for computer speakers..Mine would do it, then change radio's, it would do it..So that's what I found out no hum when I unplugged them..

Jack that truck up as high as ya can, then power wash it, let dry, then get ya some red oxide primer, then spray it with a color of your choice...All with a spray gun..Good as new!!!

I know this might've been asked, maybe not...But I have about 11 D104's sitting on a Gun cabinet that need cleaning...You know when the cords get that sticking feeling...especially the larger cords..What do ya'll use to get that crap off of them??...Thanks

Mast is grounded, but I did not run a ground up to the antenna itself. Are you supposed to ground the mounting bracket of the antenna? Yeah I have a few of D 104 that are low also, most the head doesn't change it...I'd go with pabxone on that 4.7uf Electrolytic where-ever that is...Is this a cap replacement??

Probably there's a reason most in your neck of the woods are using Imax & the Antron 99....The cold wind...When I lived in NY, I used the Maco 3 element beam, never had a problem with it...Don't know how many times it was coated in ice shivering in the cold...Cheerz!!!

Yep. It's likely a rectifier diode but could also be a shorted tube. If the filter caps are old replace them. A quick way to test for a shorted tube is disconnect the wires at the tops of the toobs (anode) and try it again. If it doesn't pop the fuse with all the tubes disconnected shut it down, di...

I can not say about GPK for the A99 but I can tell you the GPK made a big difference for me on the Imax as in reducing noise. I was plagued with a 3 to 6 S'unit noise level continuous and with the GPK no noise so in that respect a big improvement on the receive, the noise was gone. Fiberglass anten...

Hmm, If your talking Navaho's and I'm guessing they are uPD 858 radio's are you sure your not after Tantalum electrolytic's ? If it's blown / burnt or destroyed by fire C179 / C52 on an 858 board they are tantalums and you can directly replace them with an Electrolytic of the same capacitance at 16...

Good question, like i haven't had anything fixed in years...Last time I had a Saturn fixed, you got what ya got...Today the radio is messed up with hardly any use..Maybe some day I'll get it fixed, it's the first Saturn that came out. He didn't do a good job...It's not like you got your money back ...
